Oral Swabs and Dental Care
Oral swabs or swabsticks provide an easy way to quench thirst for people who cannot easily drink liquids from a cup. Oral swabs are foam mouth swabs on a stick that can also be used to help clean and freshen the mouth when other methods are no longer an option. These mouth swabs are commonly used with tube feeding, when IV fluids are being provided, and or mobility issue are present that prevent swallowing liquids.
