Scooter Ramps for Home or Portable Ramps for Travel

Now that you have your Scooter or Power Wheelchair, you may need to install ramps in and around the home to make entryways easily accessible. These aluminum scooter ramps for home use remove thresholds and safely make stairs accessible again (accommodates up to approximately 3 stairs). Portable scooter ramps are available for use with cars, vans, SUVs, and other vehicles or for temporary use at other locations. Most of the portable models are folding for easy storage and transport.

You will need to follow the manufacturer's incline chart (including in each product description) when choosing the appropriate scooter or threshold ramp for your measurements. In general, for commercial installations, the ADA recommends a 1:12 slope which means every 1" of vertical rise requires one foot of ramp, but we recommend you confirm with your local/city code. Measure the rise from the ground to where the ramp will sit on the vehicle, stairs, or threshold. This measurement equals the length of ramp needed in feet.
